Artist Statement

I am attracted by human-made objects placed in a natural setting, and by the beauty of such works from the Greco/Roman world of antiquity.  The work of William Blake also inspires me.  My fibre art often includes reclaimed paper and photographs, and other materials.  Paper mache sculpture–life-size and larger–is my current passion.
